Being involved in sports all of my life, I learned through dedication, determination and hard work I could achieve what I put my mind to. I became an elite Gymnast at a young age, and was involved in Judo, Softball and Track & Field competitively throughout school and into post secondary.
My love for sports motivated me to pursue a career in Fitness. I graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2005 with an Applied Science degree in Kinesiology and Biology, and received my ACE Personal Training certification in 2007. My aim was and still is to provide my clients with the knowledge and building blocks to lead a healthy active lifestyle.
In 2010 I travelled to Switzerland to work, travel and continue learning. Interested with how the body functions and looking for a therapeutic method of healing for myself, I was introduced to Bowen Therapy. Fascinated with how such a gentle treatment could have powerful effects on the physical and emotional aspects of body I was intrigued to learn more.
In 2013 I became a certified Bowen Therapist so I could help others heal naturally as well.
I’ve learned to take a more holistic approach to health & wellness, seeing the body as a whole instead of separate parts. Bowen Therapy allows us to balance the body and address more than just physical issues. Bowen technique is a gentle noninvasive therapy that helps supports the bodies own natural healing process. It stimulates the body to do what it naturally wants to do, which is to heal.
Bowen has been shown to help treat muscular pain, joint pain, headaches and migraines, digestion issues, respiratory problems, hormone imbalances, sleep disorders, stress and anxiety and many other condition the body is struggling with.
I am thankful and grateful to be able to help people regain their health using the Bowen technique.
